「イレギュラーハンターX」Irregular Hunter X Playthrough - Part 9, Bospider

For those who’re wondering why have I become this active again, I passed my exams and now I’ll be pretty much free until May comes. I decided to celebrate with finishing uploading X1 and IHX playthroughs. I hope you’ll enjoy :D Here goes my favorite part of this remake - Sigma Palace. Maaaan, if only The Day of Sigma did not exist... IHX would’ve become my favorite version of X1, I’m serious. I went in this game thinking I’ll hate it because of the changes, but Sigma Palace proved me wrong! I’m impressed, really. Alright, Zero contacts Irregular Hunters HQ through communicator, telling X that he has found Sigma’s fortress which will take off at any moment. Now we need to rush. Stage 1 starts in the same way as in the original, aside from having the most gorgeous remix in the entire game, but then we start to feel something wet under our feet... Yes, the lower part of the palace is submerged in water for now which wasn’t the case in X1! Gosh, this is awesome already and really makes IHX stand on its own with a little better narrative than the original in my opinion (although I still like what X1 did as well). After we beat that annoying angler fish Mechaniloid, we meet with our first opponent - Launcher Octopult. But something is... different about him. Octopult basically acts like a robot with all of its personality and desicion-making deprived. He does not even use femenine mannerisms like he did previously and most of the voicelines are different. Sigma, is this what your vision of the world ruled only by Repliroids is about? Or maybe he just resurrected those who joined the rebellion to let them somehow live in this “heaven’ and protect it from deviant Repliroids after their death. Also I didn’t notice this much in X1, but here you can clearly see what Irregular will be next by just looking at the corridors before them! This is awesome! The next corridor gave me some trouble originally, but from what I can remember, I still had problems in this recorded run too. But if you didn’t get this already, the next opponent is Boomer Kuwanger and... i’ve accidentely cut his before boss-fight words, woops. But I don’t think he had do say anything important. Here goes my personal cheesing stratedy. You can use it in your playthroughs as well, it’s great. And then... ugh, we met again, Bospider. At least now my brain is working properly and I can finish you off in no time. Seriously, I was able to do this with ease, even though I had troubles with this thing in the original X1. Guess some bosses really became easier... but... of course... not all of them. You’ll see why in a bit. Stage 1 is complete and we have not seen Zero yet.
