「イレギュラーハンターX」Irregular Hunter X Playthrough - Part 10, Randa Banda

Let’s continue. Stage 2’s remix is awesome as well, but I don’t like it as much as Stage 1 theme. Remix makes this feel grand and a little melancholic, like X needs to face off his resurrected comrades and he haven’t hear anything from Zero still, but X1 had a little bit different context behind it. Zero is alive and well for now, so it’s just about worrying and needing to fight mindless versions of your former co-workers you still care about. The stage starts in a mine area. I think Armor Armadge will be our first opponent here. Soon, we get the chance to ride a Ride Armor, so let’s use it! Oh, Mole Borers are here and we need to destroy the rock blocks in order to not get killed by them. Well, at least I know how to manage my weapons now. Resurrected Armor Armadge just grunts. Guess this poor guy lost the ability to speak. This fight is easy, though, so we’ll be moving to... noooooo, this part again. With moving platforms above the bottomless pit. It just got moved to a different stage, man. But here I managed to get up fairly easy. Wierd. I remember not having much problems without Arm parts either. Did I just... get good? The next opponent is Storm Eagleed who groans as well. Sigma, what have you done to them?.. I managed to beat him without getting hit. Impressive. The next area has some problems with lighting and fireflies, so here goes another easy win, because X’s next opponent is Spark Mandriller who just yells. At least monkey’s fairly OK. Refight are over for now. We need to fight this freaking beast AGAIN. Also, yes, it’s called Randa Banda in Japanese version of IHX. It was written as Rangda Bangda in the credits for the original X1. I’ve explained all of my problems with this thing in my X1 playthrough so you can check it out if you want. Randa Banda was made a little easier, now the walls will go back a little after that nose-thing is destroyed, but now these walls start to push you closer to the spike pit really quickly and without any warning. I wasn’t really prepared for the latter change. And Randa Banda still ate a lot of my Sub-Tanks.
