「イレギュラーハンターX」Irregular Hunter X Playthrough - Part 2, Icy Penguigo

Oh. My. God. It was so unreasonably hard I’m so tired. So, originally I wanted to make a little spoof video which is about me playing from the beginning to the end of Penguigo’s stage with my commentary and without any cuts. I was trying to fry the penguin for 4 hours. I won’t torment anyone with what I managed to record, no. So, Icy Penguigo - that one Irregular which is the first boss for almost everyone in X1, but here he is the second one. As the time goes on, I start to like some small differences in IHX. I like this order of weakness circle a lot more than what we have in original. Starting from a big bad mammoth that discriminates everyone who is lower than him in any way (with him being exteremely small himself in the manga. I don’t know if that was a nice decision, but at least he was the only one to not be killed by X, since he wasn’t infected and he himself was able to change) and ending on the eagle that soars the skies, the same ones where Sigma’s Palace rests gives a much better pase for the story, which is the reason why the remake was created (although the remakes makes X and Zero friends for the very start, Sigma gets his scars from X’s shining fingers, some Irregulars’s personality and logic was changed and Dr. Cain gets killed... so I don’t know how good this change of the order actually is) Back on track, the most bullshit parts are... eeeeeverything? I dunno, this stage was so painful for me in the remake that I can’t say which part was worse. Our little penguin frienemy with the most gorgeous squeaky voice I’ve ever heard can be a problem if you’re low on health, RNGesus hates you or when you’re just doing stupid mistakes over and over again like I usually do. Here’s the stradegy - when the fight starts, Penguigo will always shoot icicles from his mouth. jump over the first one, then hit him with Flame Wave or Fully-Charged Shot. stay in the middle as Penguigo will probably jump over you and use his Shotgun Ice. If he jumps over you to the other corner of the arena, dash to the spot where he stood on in order to not get hit by the icicles. Be ready to jump over the projectiles or run away like a little sassy baby as Penguigo can do something else aside from Shotgun Ice. Repeat all the steps, prey to RNGesus and try to be good at game, and then Penguigo will be fried and be ready to be served on a silver tray. Shove your head down this thing’s icy throat, get the Shorgun Ice weapon and go home as you’ll be preparing to freeze some mandrills in the next stage. I feel so happy that I actually killed Penguigo with the full health and without getting any damage.
