Tofu didn’t want our cheeseburger, and almost bit our volunteer! 😬

Tofu was abandoned after being mistreated for a long time. She didn’t trust humans; she didn’t believe our bacon cheeseburger trick - she just wanted to get away. Luckily for her, we were prepared for this scenario, so Malanie Hjerrild, Katie McKittrick, and I managed to secure her together. I really wanted to win Tofu’s trust at the rescue location, but she wasn’t willing to surrender, so I decided not to risk it and dealt with her back at CARES (which took less than a minute).
