Meyer Dussack: Fencing from the Bull - Amelie Eilken - Swords of the Renaissance 2021

“Fencing from the bull - Meyer Dussack” Amelie Eilken started historical fencing in 2014. Her main focus in fencing is on the treatises of Joachim Meyer from the late 16th century. She is a founding member of the Meyer Class – of the training group as well as the YouTube channel and has been training the Meyer Class Hammaborg Women since 2019. Even before her official appointment as a trainer of Hammaborg she has been conducting workshops at national and international events, weapons so far include the long sword, the dussack and the halberd. She is also one of the main organizers of the sHEMAsters event in Berlin and the Hammaborg – Historischer Schwertkampf e.V. Open Hall tournaments. This is one of the six 45 min workshops which were given at the “Swords of the Renaissance II“ in October 2021 here in Potsdam.
