In order to achieve that, pieces of tape were used to change the actor’s expressions which were later retouched, enhanced and replaced in post-production. “The original idea was to only erase the tape shot holding the face, but along the process, we’ve used materials from many different sources such as a 3D face, different scenes and photographs.
