Tanker capsizes in Typhoon Gaemi sparking frantic bid to save crew and stop huge oil spill

A tanker capsized in huge waves during a typhoon killing one crewman and spilling litres of fuel oil into the ocean. The MT Terra Nova started sinking as Typhoon Gaemi hit around 4-miles off Limay, Phillipines. 16 crew were rescued but one crew member went missing and his body was eventually recovered by search teams. Philippine authorities are working to contain the oil spill, with the Coast Guard warning of the risk that it could reach the shores of the capital, Manila.
