Dog fighting is a significant problem in the UK, with a large scale of involvement and motivations rooted in the criminal underworld. Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by actor Peter Egan and an anonymous activist to speak about the dangers, cruelty and and horrors of dog fighting. He says dogs trained for fighting may go through a 12-week training regime, running 10 miles a day, and fights can last up to 4 hours, with dogs in a terrible state at the end, win or lose.
