No story title.
Geraldo is introduced by Ronald Frankau wearing fake teeth and a tiny hat. He looks quite funny and makes a couple of jokes - see note.
High angle shot of Geraldo conducting his orchestra. As usual they all have great gypsy cowboy outfits and the music is FAB! Some L/Ss and some C/Us of Geraldo and various orchestra members. One of the guitarists sings “Close Your Eyes“
A medley of two songs - “My Sunshine is You“ and “Close Your Eyes“ - see music cue information box. This may have been shot at the Savoy Hotel.
Note: Geraldo’s Orchestra are sometimes known as Geraldo’s Gaucho Tango Orchestra.
I suspect that this story was removed from the main reel at some stage to be used in something like Pathetone Parade of 1932 and then cut back in. Think this would be where the introductory sequence featuring Ronald Frankau came from.
* Beta copy exists- check is complete story.
Duplicate version in Turns Can 2 and ’Pictorial Revue’ - see separate record for details.
