Serves 4
2 eggs
70g plain flour
100ml milk
3 tbsp vegetable oil
To serve – cooked bacon, sausages, beans, hash browns, fried eggs, tomatoes, black
pudding all work well!
1. Whisk together the eggs and plain flour in a jug. Stir in the milk and a
pinch of salt, whisking all the while. Once smooth, put into the fridge to
rest for 30 mins. Meanwhile, prepare all your full English ingredients.
2. Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 6. Put the oil in an oven-safe frying
pan, roughly 30cm wide. Put into the oven for 15 mins. Using oven gloves,
remove very carefully from the oven, immediately pouring in the Yorkshire
pudding batter.
3. Return to the oven and bake for 15 mins, until golden and puffed up.
Transfer to a plate and fill with the full English items.
