I absolutely love this song. “Uso“ is a made up word that can be translated as “dyed in sorrow“. If you take away the kanji and only look at the reading, it sounds like the word “lie“, which is quite interesting to note. Annotations: “That such a wish would suddenly come true... - That I would ever be missing those painful days...“ - The ellipses are added by me to make clear that these are sentences said in disbelief, in wonder about how it could be that something like that would happen. “Like that, I am here“ - Literally “[Like that, I am] in this place“. “Oh eyes looking towards the future“ - Same as in many many other songs written by Kyo, what would usually mean “tomorrow“ (明日) is given the reading that can make it refer to the near future in general.
