AcroYoga Transitions: Corkscrew (Bird to Star)

Corkscrew is a great intermediate-level transition between lateral (Front Plank / Bird) to vertical (Star). It challenges each partner to truly embody their role-- Bases create a stable foundation for Flyers to gracefully soar. This AcroYoga training video will appeal to one of two types of people: a) Those who wish to GET GOOD b) Those who wish to GET BETTER Believe you me... in order for one of those to happen, the other one has to occur. Spotting Tip-- Spotter’s Chest to Flyer’s Back (while in Star), Spotter’s Chest to Flyer’s Side (while in Plank). SAFETY FIRST! Please remember to have a spotter when trying something new-- especially if you have no idea what you’re doing. You take full responsibility for whatever happens with your partner the moment you start playing. If you’re not cool with that, speak your mind. Accurate Self-Assessment builds Trust.
