Moment Prague gunman fires from rooftop during mass shooting

The gunman behind Czech Republic’s worst-ever mass shooting has been named. David Kozak, 24, opened fire at Charles University in Prague on Thursday afternoon, killing at least 14 people and injuring more than 20. The Czech government has declared a national day of mourning for the victims of the worst mass shooting in the country’s history after the gunman David Kozak killed at least 14 people. The student, 24, whose links to other murders are being investigated, had fantasised about “becoming a maniac” and was reportedly inspired by a deadly shooting by a 14-year-old girl in Russia two weeks ago. He was described as a “nerd” who was fascinated with weapons.
