Chevrolet Kodiak C70 in LEGO Technic

🔽 Snowrunner’s Fan ? Here is a replica of the Chevrolet Kodiak C70 in LEGO Technic, with building instructions. More info in the description ! 🔽 ❓ This video presents my own creation, which is a 1/17 remote controlled replica of the Chevrolet Kodiak C70 (1980-1989). It is equipped with 4x4 drivetrain with geared hub and differential (no locking). Use of the Part 57360 Hinge Cylinder for the rear hub transmission to comply with smaller width due to the dual wheel. Front servo steering using rack and pinion. It is also fully suspended using links, springs and Panhard rod. The doors can be open, revealing a detailed interior (no functional steering wheel). The hood can be open, revealing the removable CAT V8 diesel engine which is connected to the drivetrain. The fifth wheel (saddle) at the rear is functional with locking mechanism for classic trailer attachment. To finish the cabin can also be removed easily, and the resulting class 7 platform can be reused for other truck (the case of the GMC TopKick).
