Aussies remain ‘choked by the python’ of cost-of-living crisis

Sky News host Paul Murray says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Treasurer Jim Chalmers made “slippery promises” but “plenty of data” suggests Australians are being choked by the cost-of-living. “The prime minister and his treasurer made a bunch of slippery announcements and promises and changes, and lies,” Mr Murray said. “Towards the end of January and through the first two weeks of sitting the federal parliament this year. “There’s plenty of data around that tells us Australian people are still being choked by the python of cost-of-living. “As they were last year when of course this government took $1,500 off 10 million workers.”
