William Kanengiser plays African Sketch by Dusan Bogdanovic

The opening section of the first of Dusan’s polyrhythmic African Sketches, using prepared guitar to imitate the “kora”, or African harp. It’s a simple trick: a standard staple is slightly bent, and fitted over two adjacent strings.  This couples the two strings together to create the wonderfully clangy tone.
