UWA Conservatorium Guitar Quartet - “Gongan“ by William Kanengiser

Students from the University of Western Australia Conservatorium of Music perform “Gongan“ for prepared guitar quartet by William Kanengiser. Metal clips, plastic discs, and foam blocks are attached to the strings, transforming the sound of the guitar, with the work meant to evoke the timbres and textures of a gamelan ensemble.
