Waldo’s Gift - Kaleidoscope Through improvisation we strive for true connection to the moment. With the ’Improvisations’ album we wanted to push that concept far, composing, performing and recording the music simultaneously in the same moment Holysseus Fly created the album art, painting the sound to canvas. We took that process even further with this video. We captured only a few takes of Saskia Horton expressing herself while hearing the music for the first time. What you’re seeing is pure un-choreographed improvised dance, performed to improvised music. A joy and challenge to film. Holysseus Fly painted 300 frames in the expressive style of the album art that were lovingly animated by our live show VJ Fred Iles.
