Riding Searle Pass | Segment 8.2 of The Colorado Trail

My Yeti Quiver- James’ Business- I have yet to meet a section of the Colorado Trail that I did not fall in love with. Searle Pass begins at 12,200 ft and descends to Copper Mountain via some of the best alpine singletrack in the state. Throw in James Weingarten, a drone, and some autumn ground-cover, and you have yourself a party. We did this as an out and back with a brief visit to Janet’s Cabin. It was locked. We ate snacks.
