Lubke Visits BAOR (1966)

Unissued / Unused material - Luneberg Heath, West Germany (FDR - Federal Republic of Germany) LS Out on a large tank range the Centurion tanks let go with their 105 mm. guns and some tracer shells are used. MS Federal President Heinrich Lubke and high ranking British officer watching from dais. VS The Centurions moving across the range at speed. VS The tanks and tank crews (3rd. Tank Regt.) lined up ready for inspection. Ground to air shot of helicopter. VS Helicopter (RAF) touches down in field and President Lubke wearing wellington boots, alights and is greeted. With him is British Ambassador in Bonn, Sir Frank Roberts and General Sir. John Hackett. VS On this very wet day President Lubke inspects equipment of the BAOR (British Army on the Rhine).
