This label released the complete recordings of Neuhaus in Japan on eleven discs. Many of these are still not very known in the west, where Neuhaus is mainly remembered as the writer of the book “The Art of Piano Playing“ and as the teacher of great pianists such as S. Richter, Gilels, Vedernikov, Virsaladze, Lupu and many others. They deserve wider availability and recognition, e.g. the recording of the Etude-Tableau is hauntingly melancholic and beautiful...
