Our vegan carbonara is a simple recipe that can be made in 15 minutes. The taste of our carbonara sauce is very close to the taste of an authentic Italian carbonara recipe. It’s full of umami, peppery and with egg flavour thanks to Kala Namak, an Himalayan black salt that tastes exactly like egg.
INGREDIENTS LIST
🌱 Vegan Carbonara Sauce
200 g (0.8 cups) soy milk
100 g (3.5 oz) carrot boiled
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
½ tsp paprika
1 small piece of onion
1 small piece of garlic
1 tsp corn starch
½ tsp sea salt
⅓ tsp kala namak
Other ingredients
300 g (10.6 oz) spaghetti bronze cut
120 g (4.2 oz) smoked tofu in small dice
2 tbsp olive oil
1½ tbsp coarse sea salt to salt the water
½ tsp black pepper
