Jeremy Wakefield plays Steel Guitar Legend “Speedy West’s” Fully restored 1947 Bigsby Pedal Steel Guitar. The guitar was lost for over 50 years. No one knew what happened to it. It was a milestone instrument, designed and built by legendary guitar and parts builder Paul Bigsby. Deke Dickerson found and restored the guitar, and this was it’s first night back in action. The small group of people on hand for this presentation were like myself-awestruck! This song also features Deke Dickerson playing some impressive upright bass!
