Hamas haven’t fired a single rocket THIS YEAR…until now.

Hamas have targeted Tel Aviv in the first attacks from Gaza since South Africa filed it’s case against Israel at the ICJ. Right, so we’re almost at the end of January and you might not have realised this, but Hamas haven’t fired a single rocket into Israel at all for the whole of this year…until last night. I hadn’t realised this until I picked up on this story this morning, it’s not like our media are reporting that all the Israeli atrocity committed in Gaza this year has gone without retaliation from Hamas for weeks now, though if you were to ask Israel, they’d tell you it was because they’re winning their war, they’re taking Hamas out and although the resumption of rocket fire from Gaza into Israel does have the effect of exposing that Israeli narrative as yet another pack of lies coming from them, that isn’t the reason they have resumed attacks of their own, because the real reason is so much sadder than that and is just so bloody avoidable.
