Here’s a song entitled “Drive She Said“ written by one of the best songwriters of our beloved AOR / Melodic Rock genre ! It was written by Janet Morrison Minto in collaboration with Michael Dorian in 1990. It was recorded in Janet’s home studio and mixed by Chris Minto. The lead vocal was done by Paul Shortino, of Quiet Riot and Rough Cutt, guitars by Mitch Perry. The Background vocals were done by Janet and Lorraine Frisaura. Janet Morrison Minto is best known for her collaboration with Pamela Moore Barlow in the ’80s under the name BARLOW / MINTO. They have written awesome songs for various AOR / Melodic Rock bands, some of which can be found on the ALIEN album from 1988. A real classic ! Together with top singer GENE MILLER they released the fantastic album FAKE I.D. - Dreaming Ezekiel in 1997 on the MTM label. It is an honor for me to release this song for Janet Morrison Minton.
