1941 Buick Super Eight #316-MWK

When introduced in 1940, the new Series Super 8 featured the cutting-edge torpedo C-body shared with the Series 70 Roadmaster. It features a 5” wider cabin, the elimination of running boards and streamlined exterior styling. When combined with a column shifter, the cars offered true six-passenger comfort. This gorgeous 1941 Burgundy/Grey Coupe is ready to show or cruise in style! The 248 cubic-inch Fireball 8 power-plant runs great and shifts smoothly through its 3-speed sliding shift manual transmission. The starting procedure is unique as well and mounted to the gas pedal. Turn the key to “on”, press the pedal and she fires right up! The interior is stunning and the craftsmanship of this era must be seen to be appreciated. The gauges are all original including a very cool push-button radio. To step into this classic, adjust the sliding front bench seat and you are taken back to a very special age.
