Manxies - Manx Shearwaters - Puffinus puffinus

From Bardsey Island, Wales, August 2012. Thousands of these breed on Bardsey, with ringing showing that they can live for over 50 despite annual migrations over immense distances including to wintering grounds off the coasts of Brazil and Australia. The birds in the video are probably from other breeding colonies, on passage through the Irish Sea.
