“Alberta Clipper“ pounds Saskatchewan with snow, high winds

Saskatchewan was blasted with snow on Monday night and early Tuesday morning as an Alberta Clipper moved through the region. High winds created low visibility on several roads and some highways, with cars becoming stranded in snowbanks in some parts. Regina saw about three centimetres of snow, according to reports, but other communities saw more. A blizzard warning was lifted for much of the province Tuesday morning as the storm system moved into Manitoba.
