Jacana daddy carries chicks under the wings best video. Bronze-winged Jacana (Metopidius indicus) chicks are hidden under the wings and carried by the male. This video shows them emerging from under the wings. Jacanas show a special type of breeding behaviour, i.e, polyandry. In this breeding behaviour, the male takes care of the eggs and chicks till fledging. The female mates with multiple males in the same breeding season and laid multiple clutches of eggs, to be cares for by different males.
