Trump, Varadkar Say They Use Indian ’Namaste’ Greeting Amid Virus Outbreak
Trump, during a bilateral press meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, revealed how he’s been greeting other world leaders, including Varadkar, in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.
He and Varadkar admitted they were using the “namaste“ greeting, bowing at each other “like they do in India,“ and joked that countries like India and Japan were “ahead of the curve.“
