Mother-of-four care worker named as victim killed in Manchester triple stabbing

A woman killed during a triple stabbing in Manchester has been named as Alberta Obinim. The 43-year-old mother-of-four died following the knife attack in Gorton on Sunday night, after which a 17-year-old girl and a 64-year-old man were in a critical condition in hospital. Police have arrested a 22-year-old on suspicion of murder. Detectives said the suspect was known to the victims. Ibrahim Abu, a family friend, led the tributes to Ms Obinim, a care worker and church-going member of the city’s Ghanaian community. He told the Manchester Evening News (MEN) she attended the Blessed Baptist Temple in Levenshulme. “She was a very nice lady,” Mr Abu said. “I knew her very well. We all go to church together.” Read more here: #manchester #stabbing #police
