Alterique Gilbert (Miller Grove) won over the neutral Chicago crowd with his electrifying play at the annual Chicago Elite Classic held at UIC. The 6 foot UConn commit scored 32 points, including back-to-back dunks in the first half. He also flashed high level passing and ball-handling skills throughout.
Named to the All-Tournament First team, we expect to see more from Gilbert this high school season as Miller Grove contends for a Georgia state title.
