The herbs gain strength, Transforming under the new moon, Filling the summer’s chalice With the potion of Solstice dreams! On the branches of the Ash in Yggdrasil’s crown Wotan’s sacrifice, bringing the runes. The words of Grimnir weave like threads, From the symbol of the world, songs of war are born in sorrow! To all those wolves that carry the sun, And to the one who will devour it, On the banners above their heads, Or will fade in the black maw.
