Ryōichirō Yoshida Shreds The Shamisen

In celebration of the 40th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, Ryōichirō Yoshida together with the other members of traditional Japanese instrumental group WASABI held a master class at the Abelardo Hall Auditorium, UP Diliman. The class was open to the public and aimed to promote Japanese traditional culture to the youth. WASABI is Ryoichiro Yoshida (Tsugaru-shamisen/3-stringed Japanese instrument), Hiromu Motonaga (Shakuhachi/Japanese bamboo flute), Naosaburo Biho (Taiko/Japanese Drum) and Shin Ichikawa (Koto/17-stringed Japanese harp).
