if your setist is around 260bpm you need to be able to play up to 280bpm! You ALWAYS need a “comfort zone“ in order not to play at 100% of your possibility! Here is a useful exercise for developing your: - CONTROL - SPEED - ENDURANCE and - BALANCE The exercise is divided between a bar in 8th notes (let’s call it the “relax’s bar“) and a bar in 16th notes in which, especially at high speeds, “we will put under stress“ wrists and fingers. Every bpm must be played for 2 minutes long. As you can see I use the LR sticking because I’m left handed but if you are a right handed use your traditional sticking.
