James Reid “My Friend“ Pepperbox - firing the “Knuckleduster“

I made this video since I couldn’t find any footage of this rare gun actually being shot. The video is muted in the beginning but not during the shot. This is a brass, hand engraved pepperbox revolver, named “My Friend“ but nicknamed the “Knuckleduster“. It was manufactured by James Reid in New York between 1868 and 1882. A seven shot .22 caliber pistol, it gets it’s nickname from it’s unique design. The shooter has the option to swing the gun around their finger and grip it as brass knuckles.
