EU, Lesotho sign deal to fast track access to clean drinking water in the country

At the heart of the European Union partnership and the Kingdom of Lesotho is water. The aim of this collaboration is primarily to ensure that everyone has access to clean and safe drinking water. This week, the Ministry of Water, funded by the EU, kickstarted the Lowlands Water Development Phase 2, which will deliver critical infrastructure including pump stations, intake structures, reservoirs, treatment facilities and conveyance systems.
