Eloise Whitaker’s one and only album was released late 1981 on Alfonso J. Cervantes’ Destiny Records, produced by Rinder & Lewis who had successfully churned out disco records for El Coco, Le Pamplemousse and St. Tropez in the late 70s. The single Don’t Turn Your Back On Love peaked at #18 on the US Dance Charts in April 1982 but Eloise Whitaker was never heard of again. This is an enjoyable collection of songs, including cover versions of the Brooklyn Dreams’ Falling In Love and Gladys Knight’s I Will Fight.
