French Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ~ flight demonstration of the MS 505 with the powerful radial engine

The company Morane-Saulnier, founded in 1911, was a French aircraft manufacturer that also produced the German aircraft Fieseler Fi 156 Storch under license. The Storch, as it was called due to its high-legged, fixed landing gear, first flew in 1936 and was used throughout World War II as a liaison, reconnaissance, and medical evacuation aircraft. The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch was known for its extremely short takeoff capabilities. Enjoy this demonstation of its flying, takeoff and landing capabilities. Thanks to Matze Hörber for this nice flight. Well done.
