Engineers fulfil tasks in border area of Kursk region The Russian Defence Ministry shows footage of building and equipping fortifications, dugouts, and caponiers for temporary accommodation of soldiers of the Sever Group of Forces. An engineering battalion solves a whole range of combat tasks - from mine clearance and destruction of enemy unexploded ordnance to construction of fortifications, water treatment and power supply systems.
