Israel continues its bombardment of the Gaza Strip in retaliation at Hamas’s deadly incursion over the weekend in which more than 1,000 Israelis were killed. Similar numbers have since been killed in Gaza and more than 260,000 people have been forced to flee their homes as Israel prepares for a possible a ground invasion of the besieged territory.
