The AfroBeatles: Fela meets The Beatles... All Together Now

This is the first song I approached in this series. My immediate goals were to try to successfully pair ANY Beatles and Fela. I definitely didn’t want to use any Fela i knew well and I was already relatively ignorant of the Beatles catalog. I scoured for every Acapella version of a Beatles song I could find which would logistically give me a subset of songs from their catalog to focus on. All Together Now sorted alphabetically high on the list and I had never heard it before. Scanning through the Fela catalog to find a pairing, I started alphabetically, avoiding songs i knew and found Ako which I have rarely heard. Playing the two, side by side, suggested some potential in their pairing but not outright since there were some distinct pitch difference.
