Belgrade Marks 25 Years of NATO Bombing, Putin: “West Started A War in Europe Without UN Resolution“

Demonstrators gathered in Belgrade to mark the 25th anniversary of the start of NATO’s aerial bombing campaign against the country. The crowd gathered outside the former army headquarters damaged in the bombardment. The bombardment stopped Serbia’s crackdown against ethnic Albanian separatists, ending Belgrade’s rule over its former province of Kosovo. The protesters waved Serbian and Russian flags and observed a minute of silence for the victims of the Moscow concert hall attack.
