Candlewick Green - Who Do You Think You Are

British band Candlewick Green appeared on UK TV talent show Opportunity Knocks winning for some 8 consecutive weeks. They obtained a record contract as a result and released a few singles but this 1974 single was their only UK top 30 hit. The track is co-written by Des Dyer of UK band Jigsaw ( `Sky High` fame ) who shared the same management as Candlewick Green. Jigsaw had recorded the track as a future album track . Candlewick Green asked if they could record a cover and release it as a single. Jigsaw agreed and Candlewick Green had their only charting hit.
