My Habanos Moment with Trinidad Vigia Cigar

Format: Torres Size: 4.3 (110 mm) × 54 Creamy n velvety smoke in a medium strength with full rich flavors of honey n vanilla followed by cafe n cacao Pig Tail or La Coleta - A significant Cuban art of cigar cap - mostly found these days in Cohiba, Montecristo & Trinidad Brands; also used to be with so many brands like Vegueros and HDM but discontinued lately. Apart from the beautiful look; the myth behind this unique technique is to have less pressure on cigar while finishing the cap. Cuban cigars are famous for their triple cap technique and if the cigar roller puts a lot of pressure on a thin panatella it likely gets clogged specially when the cigar length is more than 130mm. Another myth about Pig Tail cap is it is easier to pull off prior to smoke ; no need of a cutter ; just a twist and pull does it. However I believe the Pig Tails are aesthetically an amazing concept and it looks so cool by the art of it. Imagine a Cohiba Behike without pigtail! A critic eg: for the first myth is Lanceros with the pig tail is still getting clogged but the plain cap panetellas draw smoothly. ! The Vigia, Topes ,1966 , Talismans, Behike and the new Trinidads from 2019 ( Media Luna, Esmeralda and Topes are outstanding with the pig tail caps even though the ring size is bigger and it would be an awful idea to pull the cap off from them as it will kill the cigar completely ! Myth or no myth technique or not ;I have seen every aficionado fell in love with pig tailed cigars - this is the truth 💨😍 @HabanosOficial
