[DSS Secret Santa for MadrigalP] TWP+TWQ - Henry Tudor/Anne Neville - Zeit nach dem Sturm

► fandoms: The White Queen, The White Princess ► characters: Henry Tudor/Anne Neville, Margaret Beaufort ► song: Happy holidays, dear MadrigalP! Hope you’ll have an amazing celebration and lots of fascinating and inspiring events in the year to come :-) *** Check our DSS channel tomorrow to find the whole playlist with the Secret Santa videos! *** Really liked the opportunity to vid this pairing, because it works for me as an AU to TWQ - a story where Anne is married to another Lancastrian heir instead of Edward of Westminster, and this heir stays alive way longer than Edward; I’m usually interested in TWQ vids with AU!plots, and this story is among the first to come to mind when you think about AUs for TWQ. (Yes, I’m all for Richard/Anne if we’re talking about the historical prototypes, but Gregory had already treated them bad enough - although Barnard and Marsay did their best to improve the situation, - so it’s not like I’m doing something that ruins the relationship that was perfect before.) This vid is supposed to represent a look back at the turbulent and rough struggle for the throne from the more or less peaceful “time after the storm“, the time that can only last if people learn to go forward and truly remain human despite all their grief. I believe the mood of the song is quite suitable for this intention. Couldn’t find a proper translation online, so I added it to the subtitles (sorry for all the possible mistakes!). Since TWP was an enormously huge disappointment for me, all the characters except Henry were taken from TWQ. #fanvidfeed #thewhitequeen #twq #thewhiteprincess #henrytudor #anneneville _______________________________________________ Disclaimer: Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use“ for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
