Various shots inside a municipal shelter (looks like Underground Station). The shelter is crowded with people on bunks. Wendell Wilkie enters accompanied by journalists. He wears an Air Raid Warden’s tin hat. Wilkie chats to a man sitting on a bunk. Wilkie comments on good spirit and bravery of people of Britain. The people in the shelter cheer and sing “For He’s A Jolly Good Fellow“.
