Title reads: “Mr Wilkie wants to know“. London. Wendell Wilkie talks to local people in air raid shelter during a Blitz. Natural sound. Various shots inside a municipal shelter (looks like Underground Station). The shelter is crowded with people on bunks. Wendell Wilkie enters accompanied by journalists. He wears an Air Raid Warden’s tin hat. Wilkie chats to a man sitting on a bunk. Wilkie comments on good spirit and bravery of people of Britain. The people in the shelter cheer and sing “For He’s A Jolly Good Fellow“. Wilkie talks to camera about the high morale of the British which Hitler will never beat and how America will help England win. Note: Wilkie is Republican Politician and ex-presidential candidate.
