From the album “20/20“. Buy or Stream: | Watch the video for ’The Game’: Smackbound is a metal band from Finland. The band’s story started back in 2015 when singer Netta Laurenne founded the group. Guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari was the first to join the lines and soon followed Rolf Pilve, Vili Itäpelto and Tuomas Yli-Jaskari. The band started writing their own songs and founded also a cover band “Run for Cover“ to be able to play together right away. They have played a lot of gigs with RfC and this way have been getting ready for Smackbound’s launch. “Run“ is the third single release from Smackbound’s debut album that will be released in March 2020. It is a song about owning your life; your mistakes and the choices you make. In life you have two options: To run from or to something. Make it count. Song was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios, produced by Tuomas Yli-Jaskari, mixed by Jesse Vainio and mastered by Svante Forsbäck/Chartmakers. The video was directed by Owe Lingvall/Dreamday Media.
