In 2009, a documentary revealed how The Carlyle Group’s power and influence in America and around the world became significantly stronger after 9/11 and the Persian Gulf War. It is an example of how public-private partnerships operate to achieve their goals and a warning of what the Global Private Public Partnership means in practice.
