There are so many hand gestures that humans use to communicate amongst themselves. Here are some common Tibetan hand gestures. 1. One thumb up Meaning: Like, praise དགའ། བསྟོད། 2. Both thumbs up Meaning: Excellent, like very much ཤིན་ཏུ་ལེགས། ཧ་ཅང་དགའ། 3. One thumb up Another meaning: Request འབོད་སྐུལ། 4. Two thumbs up Another meaning: Implore ཞུ་བ་ནན་པོར་འཐེན་པ། 5. Index finger out Meaning: Show (v) སྟོན་པ། 6. All fingers out Meaning: Show politely གུས་ཏེ་སྟོན་པ། 7. Thumb and index finger out Meaning: Important, demanding attention གལ་ཆེན་པོ། དོ་སྣང་དོགས་པ། 8. Little finger out Meaning: Dislike, criticise མི་དགའ། སྨོད། 9. Bring the five fingertips together Meaning: Shut up! ཁ་ཚུམས། 10.
